It’s part of a larger initiative to build out a behavioral health infrastructure for people in distress to have “someone to call, someone to come and somewhere to go. 988 calls, texts and chats are answered by trained, compassionate behavioral health professionals who know community mental health and substance use resources.

New Mexico Alcoholics Anonymous Area 46 Assembly reports directly to and serves all A.A. groups within New Mexico and, the 19 districts, performing the services they require. The Assembly also elects a Delegate to the General Services Conference of Alcoholics Anonymous.
